The town festival was brilliant, there were lots of activities and people were able to grab a 'selfie' with Wicket the Ewok for a kind donation and say hello to our Dog mascot (who needed lots of water because it was a very hot day!).  There were lots of merchandise, books and other shop goods being sold by our wonderful volunteers, great day had by all.

Rabbit Awareness Week (RAW) - Bunny Search Competition

Saturday 10th - Sunday 18th May 2014

Two of our regular volunteers, Martha and Grace have ‘hidden’ six famous bunnies around our four RSPCA shops, and people were invited to find the famous furries, identify them and enter a prize draw. Lots of fun was had trying to search for these bunnies and this will become a regular annual event to highlight the special welfare needs of our pet rabbits over RAW.

Fabulous Fun for all the Family.

51d7d00f6e6adfff4d000000

Minchinhampton Country Fayre is a traditional fayre with lots of entertainment, food and fun.

There were clowns, fairground rides, art and gardening exhibitions, demonstrations, pony rides, gliding simulator, vintage cars and much, much more.  Dozens of craft and produce stalls tempted people into parting with their hard-earned cash..... including the fabulous amazing RSPCA South Cotswolds tombola and book sale!  There was also plenty of food and drink stalls in the food court, including a pig roast, burgers/sausages, pizzas, vegetarian stalls, and a place to relax in one of Minchinhampton's excellent cafes and pub.  All in the charming setting of the historic town of Minchinhampton.

The fabulous opening procession arrived in the High Street at 12 noon for the official start of the fayre. www.thebestof.co.uk/local/stroud/events/feature/minchinhampton-country-fayre
